“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:5-7

July Update
An Note from Our Preschool Coordinator
Hey Calvary Kids families,
Volunteers are needed. Calvary Kids classrooms continue to have an urgent need for volunteers to serve. If you’ve been waiting for the “right time,” this is it! If you’re willing, we’ll provide all the training for you to feel equipped to lead.
This month in Calvary Kids, we’re continuing to explore what it means to live like Jesus. That can feel like a big goal sometimes. But when I’m unsure where to begin, I always come back to the classic question: WWJD?
What Would Jesus Do? It’s a simple question, but it points us to a powerful truth. Jesus is our greatest example of how to love others. The way He treated people with dignity, kindness, and forgiveness shows us how to do the same.
“Be kind and loving to each other.” —Ephesians 4:32
One way to put this into practice as a family is to read Ephesians 4:32 together at dinner. Then, go around the table and have each person name one way they can show kindness or forgiveness to a friend this week. Write them down, check in later in the week, and celebrate how you each lived it out like Jesus!
Serving in a classroom with your own child is a really great way to model what it looks like to serve like Jesus did too. As a bonus, you’ll support their faith and friendships while making a lasting impact on the next generation. Please click here if you’re interested in serving.
Starting these conversations with your kids matters. We’re with you and cheering you on!
Blessings,
